The Shofar: Wake-Up Call for the Spirit Please join in for a short Friday evening service. It will include a study session and discussion about a variety of traditional and personal meanings for the shofar. The shofar is a key symbol for the High Holy Day season, and is said to awaken the soul to a sense of higher purpose. We will end this event with the blowing of the shofar.
