The Chanukah holiday is just around the corner. Did you know that Jewish communities used to publicly read a scroll about Chanukah, similar to the Megillah that Jewish communities read on Purim? Let’s learn more about this ancient text, The Scroll of Antiochus. If we were to create a Chanukah scroll to be read today, what would it say? What are the key narrative details of the holiday and its meaning for us now?
