The Cycle of Love, Grief, and Renewal
At this time of year, the Jewish holiday cycle leads us through a very mournful holiday, Tisha B’Av, followed immediately by the Tu B’Av holiday, a festival of romantic love. What are the historic roots of the holidays? More importantly, what do they mean for us? How can we take hope and renew joy through the cycle they represent?
