Why Jerusalem?
The first references to Jerusalem in Torah are when Abraham buys a grave for Sarah in this week’s Parasha — Chayei Sarah. What deal did Abraham make about Jerusalem? Who broke the deal? What has happened since then? Can we make a new deal? If so, to what end?
