6:30 pm Congregant-Led Erev Shabbat Service We begin with a Potluck Dinner at 6:30 pm. Please bring a dairy, vegan or vegetarian dish to share. Our service starts at 7:30 pm, followed by a discussion of this week’s Torah portion, Parshat Tetzaveh, led by our Beit Tikvah member Miriam Winder Kelly. Miriam has researched attributes of the 12 tribes putting them into a spreadsheet to compare how they are presented in Jewish literature such as the Mishnah, Talmud, and modern writings. She will present this fascinating project and ask us to figure out where we fit into this array of strengths and weaknesses to claim a tribe as our own. Come be part of this fascinating exploration!
