On Shavuot, we celebrate the origin of Torah, our most precious spiritual inheritance and guide. For our Shabbat study topic, we’ll look at the Torah’s description of the origin of the universe, found in the first verses of the Book of Genesis. How does it characterize God’s creativity? What sort of examples does it set to inspire our own creativity?
