Potluck Dinner & Jewish Journeys

East Bank Havurah & Beit Tikvah are partnering to celebrate Shabbat on Friday evening, August 11. Beginning at 6:30 pm SHARP, we will have candle lighting, kiddush, and motzi, followed by potluck dinner in the social hall at Beit Tikvah, 5802 Roland Avenue (accessible building). Enter parking lot via Bellemore Rd. At 7:30 pm we will sing our way into a program of sharing: a member of each congregation will talk about their “Jewish journey.” The evening will conclude with a healing circle, which is a tradition of East Bank Havurah, mourner’s Kaddish, and announcements. A Zoom link will be provided ahead of time for the program starting at 7:30 pm.
