Discussion Topic: Upside-Down Letters in the Torah and the Carry-On Bag Rule
At this time of year we read the Book of Numbers, describing the middle years of the Israelites’ travels after leaving Egypt. In Chapter 10, we find 72 letters bookmarked by mysterious upside down letters. This curious notation describes something that uplifted the Israelites amidst many challenges and difficulties along their journey. How can it add to our lives?
