Child Care Enrich Shabbats for Parents, Children

Beit Tikvah encourages families to bring their children of all ages to Shabbat and holiday services to expose them to the beauty of prayer and the music of their heritage. We all know, though, that it is not always easy for children to sit and listen for long stretches of services. So, the congregation, under the leadership of the Vaad Ha Yeladim, offers member and guest families at no cost supervised activities when the need arises for children to age 5. Supervised child care is provided in the nursery playroom, from 10 a.m. through noon. Toys, costumes and art materials help keep the youngest ones engaged in a safe and "close-by" environment.
