The No'ar Hadash Teen Retreat was a great success! Congregation Beit Tikvah had the largest contingent of teens from any Reconstructionist synagogue in the Chesapeake Region. Go BT Teens! Click here to get a photo of these inspired youths!

The Kantor family is hosting a teen-focused Shabbat at the Table on Friday, October 19th. If you have a teen in your family, and are interested in forging new (or closer) relationships for your teen in the Jewish community, call the office at 410-464-9402 or call the Kantors directly (they're in the member directory) to reserve a place for your family at this week's Shabbat-at-the-Table.

The Youth Group will be having our first fall meeting at Waldorf School in the board room on September 9, 2007. We will be disseminating information to you on how you can volunteer for the children's program at High Holidays. Teen participation is essential- whether you enjoy arts & crafts or leading games, there is a place for you. Remember - helping out with the younger kids grants you a "ticket" into the Teen Lounge. Therefore, even if you do not consider yourself part of the youth group, as a Beit Tikvah teen we would appreciate your presence. THERE WILL BE DONUTS !!!!!

The next item on our agenda will be the distribution of the fall/winter calendar. Your
officers will be presenting ideas for future activities for you to choose.

Additionally, it would be nice to hear from the 3 girls who attended Camp JRF about their
camp experiences.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again, a little taller and a little tanner.

Your Advisor,

Ms.Karen
