Us When:
Judaism
does not just happen in shul. Shabbat is celebrated both at home and at the synagogue. Some prefer one to the other, others do them both. Beit Tikvah encourages both. That's why we offer Friday night services most weeks throughout the year. To encourage home celebration, Beit Tikvah has begun Shabbat-at-the-Table, a potluck vegetarian/dairy dinner for members and their guests held in one or more of our member's homes on the fourth Friday of alternating months. Shabbat-at-the-Table is a way to both help you begin your own home celebration and bring our community together. What
should members do to attend: What
you need to bring: We hope
members will take advantage of this lovely opportunity to learn about
different families' Friday night Shabbat customs and to celebrate in the
warmth and comfort of our community's homes.
